Wigan County Borough Police was formed in 1836 & lasted until 1969 when it merged into Lancashire Constabulary. 
This nickel cap badge of Wigan County Borough Police K.C ( Kings Crown 1911 to 1952 ) is in good condition, the cap fixing slider of this one piece economy pressed badge has been shortened but still attacheable to a cap.
