A very hard to obtain original issue cap badge for the Dumfries & Galloway Fire & Rescue Service !
Dumfries & Galloway Fire & Rescue Service was formed in 2005 by the change of name from the former Fire Brigade title held since 1975. Although a limited batch of 50 cap badges were ordered, these badges were never issued directly to the firefighters, they were loaned out for parade's & official functions. I am lucky enough to have a Jeeves Badge Company of Liverpool original issue in excellent condition. A 2 piece badge with the enamel centre fixed to the standard issue Jeeves fully pressed home office star, both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge. 
Copies of this cap badge were ordered by a fire brigade cap badge dealer & are in general circulation, also available on my website for 30 pounds.
