Scottish Fire & Rescue Service was formed in 2013 when Scotland amalgamated all the different Scottish Fire & Rescue Services into one brigade. These are extremely hard cap badges for collectors to obtain as these are not general issue cap badges. These badges are not part of personal uniform issue anymore as many modern fire & rescue services such as Scotland do not wear cap's as part of their uniform. Cost cutting by brigades means that many brigades order a small batch for ceremonial duties. These are kept in stores & handed out, then returned after use & all badges of certain brigades fetch very high prices as demand for them by collectors who can not obtain them normally is very high !
