Renfrew Town Fire Brigade in East Renfrewshire, Scotland first started a fire brigade in 1834 & this brigade lasted until 1920. The brigades running was taken over by East Refrewshire Council & was disbanded in 1941 merging into the National Fire Service. The Chief Firemaster Charles Angus was the only Chief Firemaster the brigade had.
