A great cap badge for fire brigade badge collectors to own, for some reason the post ww2 Northamptonshire Fire Brigade cap badge in use from 1948 to 1974 is very very hard to come by. I can't explain why but they don't come up for sale very often & i have seen one of these badges sell for 160 pounds to a well known collector who had struggled to find one in all of his years of collecting ! I myself only obtained one within the last 2 years & now i have the oportunity to offer one on my website for sale at last ! Coming from a vast collection of cap badges obtained very recently from a deceased collector, this badge is in great 100% original condition. The chrome coat of arms centre is attached to the standard economy issue Home Office star via a thin brass pin, both cap fixing lugs attached to the rear of the cap badge.
