The Norfolk Regiment was formed on the 1st July 1881 after the British Army restructuring of that year, formerly 9th East Norfolk Regiment of Foot, it changed its title again in 1936 to The Royal Norfolk Regiment!

This fine officers blue cloth helmet badge is complete with the correct 3 (three) supporting lugs to the rear of the lined Edwardian K.C. (Kings Crown) star, sadly missing the black velvet centre that sits behind Brittannia. This 3 (three) piece badge with detachable centre & laurel wreath from the star shows signs of honest age & wear, apart from the missing velvet centre piece which can be replaced easily, we like to sell items as they are. This is an officers blue cloth spiked helmet badge with silvered scroll & Brittannia, needs a clean but a very nice piece otherwise!
