A 100% all brass National Fire Service 1941 to 1947 cap badge in used condition. Close examination of the letters N F & S show no sign of ever having being enamelled. The badge is British manufactured fully pressed issue with no makers mark. Had it ever been enamelled, tiny traces would still be attached to the surface giving evidence of once being enamelled. A hard to find wartime NFS brass cap badge i've not seen many around.
