This original Liverpool City Fire Brigade 1963 to 1974 cap badge is in good "facial" condition but has a damaged repaired lug to the raer of the badge, quite crudely glued piece of copper wire but does the trick. Its solidly fixed and would not be seen if displayed from the front. 
Liverpool City Fire Brigade merged into Merseyside Fire Brigade in 1974 lasting 11 years from inception, having changed its name from the post ww2 designation of Liverpool City Fire Service. 
The badge is complete with the enamel centre fixed to the standard fully pressed issue Home Office star.
