An original 1948 to 1974 grey scroll Kent Fire Brigade cap badge with the "closed hooves". A 2 piece cap badge with the chrome horse fitted to the standard issue Kent Fire Brigade home office star, with enamel red shield,  both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge. There has been some repair work on part of some damaged enamel, the badge is in otherwise good condition.
