A nice original Irish Republic national Garda Siochana ( Guards of Ireland ) police nickel cap badge. The badge is in excellent condition with brass cap fixing lugs to the rear being representative of not a modern badge. The Garda Siochana was formed in 1922 & is still the current national police force for the Republic of Ireland.
