Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service RARE 1993 one-piece Cap Badge - This is a reproduction of the rarest Hampshire Fire Brigade Cap Badge in existence. It is a one piece badge rather than the traditional star with enamel centre, the official badge is two piece and was adopted in 1993 as part of the ongoing Fire Service reforms, changing titles from Brigades to Fire & Rescue Services.
This badge was the official design that was accepted, but to be made in two pieces. It is a copy of the rare badge as this example is flat back and doesn't sport the original badge manufacturers stamp mark of Jeeves Ltd, Waterloo, Liverpool. (Copyright laws prevent this)
