Very nice un-boxed glass bowl commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Godiva Fire Pumps 1937 to 1987. 

Godiva Fire Pumps, a later generation of the famous Coventry Climax fire pump of wartime fame. A very well produced portable & reliable fire pump & certainly contributed to the history of firefighting equipment, bought by the M.O.D (Ministry Of Defence) & installed in the later famous “Green Goddess” fire engines!

 Many Godiva pumps are exported, a lot to the U.S.A. (United States Of America) & assist particularly well in forest fires or remote area’s! Formerly known as The Coventry Climax Fire Pump, used by the M.O.D. (Ministry Of Defense) as part of essential equipment carried on the famous Green Goddess fire engines among others.

The etching on the bowl which measures 5” tall x 5” diameter is the famous “Lady Godiva” on her white horse & is the company logo! Based in Warwickshire & now owned by the Idex Corporation.
