This post war Gloucestershire Fire Service officers bullion cap badge issued in 1948, remained in force until 1985 when the brigade changed its title to Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service.

Gloucestershire Fire Service had 36 fire stations covering 1,209 square miles which did not include the county borough of Gloucester City ! This officers bullion cap badge is in good original condition & a great addition to any cap badge collection as officers badges are not available as fireman's cap badges are.
