An original Glasgow Fire Service 1948 To 1975 cap badge which has chipped enamel to the red ring. This variation is the light red colour as a darker red also exists. The enamel centre is fixed to the standard fully pressed issue Home Office star and both cap fixing lugs are intact to the rear of the badge. A trick to repair damaged enamel is to apply the correct colour womens nail varnish.
