A generic pattern Merryweather style senior fire brigade officers nickel silver helmet circa late 1880's to 1930's. The helmet is in good overall condition with a professionally replaced draw string liner. Some minor cracking to part of the rear right hand side helmet cone with a piece missing. & possibly the chainscales have a newer leather strap but are complete & intact.
