An original officer’s bullion cap badge from the Fife Fire Brigade which was formed in 1948 & continued long after the 1975 Scottish Fire Service Reforms Act as a brigade until 1985 when the brigade changed its title to Fire & Rescue Service.

The cap badge is in excellent condition & does not appear to have been issued or attached to a cap at any time but nonetheless has an aged look indicating an older British manufactured cap badge than the modern bullion badges of today mostly made abroad in places such as Pakistan & of an inferior quality to quality British manufactured cap badges!
