Essex Constabulary was formed in 1840 & lasted until 1969 renamed Essex & Southend On Sea Constabulary. 
This Essex Police K.C  ( Kings Crown 1911 to 1952 ) white metal cap badge in use from 1911 to 1952 is in good condition. The cap fixing slider is intact to the rear of the economy pressed one piece cap badge but has been cut down short.
