The merger of Devon Fire & Rescue Service & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service in 2007 created the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service. A new cap badge design was commissioned for the joint counties fire & rescue service & Mike Trueman Badges of Birmingham is the official cap badge supplier to the brigade ! This is a Mike Trueman manufactured cap badge in excellent condition un issued cap badge for the new service & not easy to find as yet, the service being one of those who do not allow their badges out for sale !
