A Devon Fire Brigade cap badge in force for 13 years from 1974 to 1987 when the brigade changed its title to Devon Fire & Rescue Service. This cap badge is manufactured by Gaunt & Sons Badge Company of London, one of the official cap badge suppliers to the brigade. The enamel centre fixed to the standard issue fully pressed Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge.
