This original B.A.A F.S 3rd pattern cap badge manufactured by Toye Kenning & Spencer Badge Company of Birmingham, official suppliers to the brigade, is complete but has damaged enamel.
The enamel centre fixed to the standard TKS economy issue, lined Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge. 
This is the 3rd pattern B.A.A Fire Service cap badge issued since forming in 1966, now superceded by the same pattern Fire & Rescue Service cap badge with appropriate title.
