A very rare & original Bournemouth Fire Brigade cloth shoulder title from the ww2 N.F.S / A.F.S period. ( world war 2 1939 to 1945, National Fire Service 1941 to 1947 & Auxiliary Fire Service 1938 to 1968 )..These cloth shoulder titles are few & far between nowadays & Bournemouth being a south coast seaside town had but a small town brigade covering its area ! This cloth shoulder title is used but in great condition & bears the stitch marks having been on a wartime fire tunic at some stage in it's lifetime !
