A 1927 to 1941 large brass Birmingham Fire Brigade button in excellent condition. Birmingham Fire Brigade changed the badge & button design in 1927 from the coat of arms button it used from 1920. Prior to that the earliest button in force from the late 1880's when Chief Officer Tozer took over charge of Birmingham Fire Brigade is a shield. The shield design buttons are extremely hard to find & again rarely come on the open market for sale.
