Another short lived badge that will in time become hard to obtain, Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service in force from its title change in 1989 from Fire Brigade to Fire & Rescue Service, lasting until 1996 when the brigade changed its title again to Bedfordshire & Luton Fire & Rescue Service & adopted a new badge!
In force for just 7 years, these helmet transfers are the sticker type which just peeled off the paper backing & firmly stuck to the front of the fire helmet. Bedfordshires earlier helmet transfers were water slide transfers but as new full faced helmets became more widespread they adopted these sticker type helmet transfers.
In unused great condition this transfer is a great addition to any fire helmet transfer collection & in force for just a short period of time.
