British Airports Authority Fire Service Helmet Transfer 1966-76

A waterslide fire helmet decal/transfer of the British Airports Authority Fire Service badge/crest in use between 1966 and 1976 on the Hendry Airport and the Helmets Ltd Cromwell F135 "County" type helmets during this period at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow and (from 1971) Edinburgh Airports.



It is a reproduction transfer made in the UK and taken from the original artwork and is from a limited print run of only 45 pieces.



This transfer, now long obsolete, has taken much time in sourcing the artwork for and getting to print.



A perfect and rare collectors item. The transfer measures 50mm diameter.



Each transfer will be shipped with a piece of protective non stick paper, inside a polythene ziplock bag, inside a stiff boarded envelope for protection against bending.
