An exceptionally nice condition, looks unissued Avon Ambulance Service cap badge from 1974 to the early 1980's period. The badge is a one piece enamel cap badge with both cap fixing lugs attached to the rear of the cap badge. 
Avon Ambulance Service was formed in 1974 when all previous county borough ambulance services were merged into county ambulance services and the former Bath City Ambulance Service was disbanded after forming in 1968.
